A critical component of our national infrastructure, the rail network, demands special attention in terms of testing for new build, maintenance and repair.

Away from the track, Eurotest can offer a full materials and geotechnical testing service to support the new build or repair process including the provision of seconded personnel to staff materials related functions including testing.

At Eurotest, our rail testing provision is growing rapidly, founded on quick, flexible and compliant testing regimes for trackside and elsewhere. We are well conversant with the specialist safety and specification requirements for this project type and our services include:

• 24 hour/day 365 days/year attendance for scheduled or emergency attendance for testing to support the construction process
• Hardened concrete investigation for existing bridges and other structures
• Soils and Earthworks testing including nuclear density, and Lightweight Deflectomoters for ground assessments when time is absolutely of the essence
• Ballast testing
• Rapid geotechnical testing for soil shear strength such as quick undrained triaxial testing
